As many an expert chef has done, Daniel began his career as a kitchen assistant in Canterbury University’s college kitchen. He has since worked in some of Europe’s finest Michelin restaurants working under the finest chefs including Marco Pierre White and Jean Bardet.

Daniel joined Midsummer as Head Chef 8 years ago and recognition from major food commentators and more importantly, a loyal following of customers, have propelled Daniel into the limelight for his dazzlingly creative food. Still only 34 years old and as ambitious as ever, Daniel now holds 2 Michelin stars and a wealth of prestigious accolades.

My main focus is to produce an experience on the plate that is an explosion on the palate.
