Brief History
The Crown Group started life in 1978 as a well-formed collection of highly trained and qualified chefs. These Chefs were part of a unique and highly original venture, an agency that supplied local caterers with relief chefs. The business grew and developed and soon two distinct, fraternal twin companies were born and vigorously matured as respected catering companies: Crown Venue Catering and Crown Society Special Event Caterers, later changing their names to differentiate between the business; establish strong brand identities and clearly communicate what each company does.
The group's core catering and events activities have broadened to include a diverse range of suppliers from flag making to a graphic design consultancy. The companies all add a significant weight to the Crown Group of businesses and inevitably provide clients with a comprehensive events service.
The Crown Group over the years has successfully established itself in the world of catering and event management, ever changing, ever growing - always developing and going places where others with the same lineage may fear to tread.
