General Manager – Marquees

Piggotts supply the best quality marquees for corporate hospitality, product launches, exhibitions and private functions.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for General Manager for our Marquee division to provide and manage a high quality service to our clients and manage a team comprising of drivers, marquee erectors, and sales staff.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Full responsibility for running division, including P &L budgeting and delivery
- Business development and continued strategic growth of division.
- To ensure all H&S rules and regulations are adhered to.
- To plan installation and removal schedules and ensure all sub contracted equipment is organised in advance
- To conduct site visits to assess what each contract requires in terms of labour, technical support, access, etc
- Manage all onsite infrastructure and maintenance issues
You will be an experienced Manager, preferably from within the same industry and will have the following attributes/skills:
- Computer literate
- Proven experience in Financial Management.
- Knowledge and experience in mobilization and deployment of personnel
- Proven ability in Logistical Management
- Proven people management and staff development skills
- Good oral and written communication skills in English are essential.
