Daniel Clifford Stars On Great British Menu

Our own double Michelin starred chef Daniel Clifford has been starring on BBC2 for the latest series of Great British Menu. Over the past 3 years Great British Menu has cooked for Her Majesty the Queen at her 80th Birthday banquet and thrilled some of the world’s finest chefs with some of the very best, cutting edge contemporary British food.

The series sees the chefs competing to cook a homecoming banquet to honour British service men and women who were serving in Afghanistan, along with their families who supported them. To begin the fourth series Clifford went head to head with Glynn Purnell from Purnell’s in Birmingham. Judges include Matthew Fort, Prue Leith and Oliver Peyton. Purnell went on to the next round meaning that Daniel could concentrate his efforts back at Midsummer House.
